| Description: The biological name comes from the Greek root meaning “not wetting” which refers to the plant’s ability to repel water even though this herb grows in a wet environment. Another part of its name comes from the word Capillus which is the root word for hair and veneris which refers to the goddess Venus. This short-creeping herb has small slender branching rhizomes with fronds which grow in rows approximately 30 cm high with a width of about 15 cm. |
